Untukbentuk Tenses seperti Present Perfect Continuous, Past Perfect Continuous dan Future Perfect Continuous biasanya tidak memiliki bentuk Passive Voice. Selain itu kalimat yang menggunakan kata kerja intransitif, atau kata kerja yang tidak memerlukan Object, jenis kalimat seperti ini juga tidak memiliki bentuk Passive Voice. Contoh:

Subject+ is/are/am + -ing form of the verb + object.
